Tonsillitis Helped With Manuka Honey

Tonsillitis is a painful throat condition, affecting millions of people every year, affecting all ages.

Thankfully, help is at hand in relieving AND preventing tonsillitis by using Manuka Honey!

The tonsils help your immune system by filtering out bacteria, germs and viruses that enter the body via the mouth and nose. So when your immune system isn’t performing 100% infection can get into the tonsils, as the first place many a virus or bacteria attacks and then tonsillitis occurs.

Usually, treating tonsillitis is by gargling with salt water, increasing water intake and anti-inflammatory drugs but did you know that Manuka Honey is a far more powerful and effective treatment?

Due to Manuka’s powerful and proven anti-bacterial properties – it’s the only known substance to actually kill the deadly MRSA bacteria! – it quickly kills and prevents the growth and spread of the bacteria – usually in the tonsils it is the streptococcus bacteria – that has caused the infection.

Did you know antibiotics won’t fight off tonsillitis?

Take the Manuka Honey in one of two ways…

• Take a medical strength Manuka Honey such as a UMF 16+ grade.
• Either directly off the spoon, allowing the honey to effectively ‘melt-in-the-mouth’, swallowing
slowly, allowing the honey to slowly pass by the tonsils and the infected area. This is the most
effective way.
• Mixing the honey with luke warm water and sipping slowly, again this coats the tonsils and infected
• Do either of these 3 – 5 times a day.

If you are prone to tonsillitis then consider taking Manuka 3 times a day, every day to warn off and kill harmful bacteria to stop this horrible illness! When using Manuka Honey as a preventative measure you can use an Active 20+ and above or UMF 15+ and above grade.
