- Off the spoon. This is probably the best way to take it. If you’re usually well and you’re simply taking it as you would a vitamin, for example, then 1-2 teaspoons a day is about right.
- Mix it up in food. Try adding a teaspoon to your breakfast – on toast, in porridge or drizzled over cereal… yum!
- Dilute it with warm water. This makes a great winter drink when you’re feeling under the weather! Dilute your teaspoon of honey with about a third of a mug of warm water. Warning! Do not mix it with hot or boiling water – it will strip it of all its enzymes!
